Every Wednesday from 7.45pm. Screenings will begin at 8.30pm.

Questionmark films are excited to present their upcoming season of weekly film nights, showing rare and exciting examples of world, European and experimental cinema. The nights will feature both box office successes and underappreciated independent makes.

Each monthly season will be feature four films around a chosen theme. A film will be screened every Wednesday night.

The first theme is ‘Fact, Fiction or Dream?’, and the first film to be shown is Pen-Ek Ratanaruang’s Last Life in the Universe, (Thailand/Japan, 2003). This is a dreamlike film full of magical surprises, revolving around the quiet, suicidal dreamer Kenji (Tadanobu Asano). The film won the FIPRESCI award at the 2004 Bangkok International Film Festival and numerous other awards.

The films making up the rest of the first season will include:
24 March: Last Life in the Universe, Thailand/Japan, 2003 (24 March 2010)
31 March: Twelve Angry Men, Sidney Lumet, USA, 1957 (31 March 2010)
7 April: Pandora’s Box, Yesim Ustaoglu, Turkey, 2008 (7 April 2010)
14 April: TBC (14 April 2010)

Question Mark Films want to watch and talk about films in a friendly, boozy environment. We want to create a forum for film lovers, random punters and people off the street to watch and discuss complicated (and not so complicated) films in simple ways.
